Recent Projects & Activities

Currently, I support the North America shared services center at Samsung Electronics in a contract role. I provide Workday technical support and project based work for Samsung subsidiaries across North America.

In my role as Senior IT Business Analyst with USC Information Technology Services, I served as one of two lead BAs on a project to design and implement Workday Onboarding across the University and USC Hospitals, transforming organizational new hire onboarding processes into a digital, paperless process.

Through the project, I led regular design sessions, demonstrating product functionality and highlighting key decision areas as well as prepared demonstration videos to communicate new functionality, gather user community feedback, and support change management efforts.

Outside of USC, I serve as Business Finance Manager for Migratory Notes, a weekly guide to rapidly changing immigration issues for journalists, policy makers, lawyers, academics, advocates, and immigrants themselves. The newsletter synthesizes exceptional immigration journalism and highlights emerging practices to connect with multiethnic communities.

Past Projects & Activities

Previously, I was an Analyst for USC Ostrow School of Dentistry, managing an $18.5M First 5 LA funded community health grant project. I worked at USC Annenberg providing administration and financial oversight for all grant projects awarded to the School.  I cofounded a technology startup aiming to provide CRM solutions to businesses as well as career pathways into tech through apprenticeships.

I also interned at the Los Angeles Mayor’s Office of Economic Development in the small business and entrepreneurship division, supporting marketing activities and community outreach initiatives.  During my employment with USC, I pursued my MBA at the USC Marshall School of Business and graduated May 2014. Prior, I served as the Operations Manager of an electric vehicle technology manufacturing company
